Bediuzzaman Said Nursi

A cut of conversation in a movie about Bediuzzaman Said Nursi. He is a Kurdish Sunni Muslim theologian, a writer of Risale-i Nur collection. Believing that modern science and logic was the way of the future, he advocated teaching religious sciences in secular schools and modern sciences in religious schools.

The government arrested him for allegedly violating laws mandating secularism and sent him to exile as his teachings spread among the intellectuals and the military officers. He died of exhaustion after traveling to Urfa.  I would like to suggest this movie as it has many knowledges and moral values that can be applied in our daily life. Bismillah.
